 7|       An Act relating to educator health insurance;                   |
  |       directing that the state shall cover percentage of              |
 8|       premiums for dependents; providing for codification;            |
  |       and providing an effective date.                                |

  |                                                                       |
11|BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:                  |
  |                                                                       |
12|    SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified     |
  |                                                                       |
13|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1309.2 of Title 74, unless there   |
  |                                                                       |
14|is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:               |
  |                                                                       |
15|    For any person employed as a teacher who has elected to have a     |
  |                                                                       |
16|dependent or dependents of the employee covered by the state Health    |
  |                                                                       |
17|Insurance Plan and Dental Insurance Plan or by any available Health    |
  |                                                                       |
18|Maintenance Organization (HMO) approved by the Office of Management    |
  |                                                                       |
19|and Enterprise Services, the state shall pay thirty percent (30%) of   |
  |                                                                       |
20|the premium for covered dependents.                                    |
  |                                                                       |
21|    SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective November 1, 2023.      |
  |                                                                       |
