NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | | | 19|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 3-104.4a of Title 70, unless | | | 20|there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | | | 21| Upon the effective date of this act, there shall be a moratorium | | | 22|on additional accreditation rules approved and imposed upon school | | | 23|districts by the State Board of Education without specific | | | 24|legislative statutory authorization. 1|Quality and Accountability shall conduct a review and prepare a | | | 2|report of all statutes and rules utilized by the State Board of | | | 3|Education and State Department of Education to determine | | | 4|accreditation standards and deficiencies and submit the report to | | | 5|the President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma State Senate, the Speaker | | | 6|of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, the Chair of the Senate | | | 7|Education Committee, Chair of the Senate Education Appropriations | | | 8|Subcommittee, Chair of the House Common Education Committee, and | | | 9|Chair of the House Education Appropriations and Budget Subcommittee | | | 10|no later than January 1, 2024. | | | 11| SECTION 2.
