 7|       An Act relating to schools; prohibiting the embedding           |
  |       of social workers in certain districts and schools;             |
 8|       directing removal of social workers in certain sites            |
  |       on certain date; providing for codification;                    |
 9|       providing an effective date; and declaring an                   |
  |       emergency.                                                      |

12|BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:                  |
  |                                                                       |
13|    SECTION 1.     NEW LAW     A new section of law to be codified     |
  |                                                                       |
14|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 24-166 of Title 70, unless there   |
  |                                                                       |
15|is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:               |
  |                                                                       |
16|    The Department of Human Services shall be prohibited from          |
  |                                                                       |
17|embedding social workers in public school districts or public          |
  |                                                                       |
18|charter schools in this state.  Any social workers placed in public    |
  |                                                                       |
19|school or charter school sites in this state on the effective date     |
  |                                                                       |
20|of this act shall be removed.                                          |
  |                                                                       |
21|    SECTION 2.  This act shall become effective July 1, 2026.          |
  |                                                                       |
22|    SECTION 3.  It being immediately necessary for the preservation    |
  |                                                                       |
23|of the public peace, health, or safety, an emergency is hereby         |
  |                                                                       |
24|                                                                       |
  |                                                                       |

 1|declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and    |
  |                                                                       |
 2|be in full force from and after its passage and approval.              |
