1| STATE OF OKLAHOMA | | | 2| 1st Session of the 59th Legislature (2023) | | | 3|SENATE BILL 33 By: Bullard | | | 4| | | | 5| | | | 6| AS INTRODUCED | | | 7| An Act relating to public health; prohibiting public | | entities and contractors from requiring COVID-19 | 8| vaccinations or discriminating due to vaccination | | status; defining term; providing for codification; | 9| and declaring an emergency. | | | 10| | | | 11|BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | | | 12| SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | | | 13|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-502.5 of Title 63, unless | | | 14|there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | | | 15| It shall be unlawful for any federal or state agency, any | | | 16|political subdivision, or any business under contract with a federal | | | 17|or state agency or political subdivision to require any resident of | | | 18|this state to submit to or receive a COVID-19 vaccination or any | | | 19|variant thereof. Additionally, no federal or state agency, | | | 20|political subdivision, or business under contract with a federal or | | | 21|state agency or political subdivision shall discriminate against any | | | 22|resident of this state due to vaccination status. As used in this | | | 23|section, "political subdivision" means a county, city, town, school | | | 24| | | | Req.
