1| STATE OF OKLAHOMA | | | 2| 1st Session of the 59th Legislature (2023) | | | 3|SENATE BILL 360 By: Pugh | | | 4| | | | 5| | | | 6| AS INTRODUCED | | | 7| An Act relating to schools; directing the State Board | | of Education to provide certain salary bonus to | 8| certain school nurse with certain certification; | | providing for codification; providing an effective | 9| date; and declaring an emergency. | | | 10| | | | 11| | | | 12|BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA: | | | 13| SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | | | 14|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-213 of Title 70, unless there | | | 15|is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | | | 16| The State Board of Education shall provide an annual salary | | | 17|bonus in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to a school | | | 18|nurse, as defined by Section 1-116 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma | | | 19|Statutes, who maintains certification from the National Board for | | | 20|Certification of School Nurses and is employed by a school district | | | 21|in this state. | | | 22| SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023. | | | 23| SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation | | | 24|of the public peace, health, or safety, an emergency is hereby | | | Req.
