NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | | | 12|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 6-101.9 of Title 70, unless | | | 13|there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | | | 14| A teacher who is certified pursuant to Section 6-122.3 or 6-187 | | | 15|of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes and who, at the request of the | | | 16|employing school district, takes and passes a subject area | | | 17|competency examination required by Section 6-187 of Title 70 of the | | | 18|Oklahoma Statutes to earn certification and teach an additional | | | 19|subject in the school district shall be reimbursed by the school | | | 20|district. The reimbursement shall be an amount equal to the cost of | | | 21|the subject area competency examination. | | | 22| SECTION 2. This act shall become effective July 1, 2023. | | | 23| SECTION 3.
