NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified | | | 15|in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 85.49 of Title 74, unless there | | | 16|is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows: | | | 17| Beginning on November 1, 2024, and annually thereafter, the | | | 18|State Purchasing Director shall submit a written report to the | | | 19|President Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of | | | 20|Representatives that includes, but is not limited to: | | | 21| 1. The percentage of the number of state contracts awarded to | | | 2|businesses that have been in operation for less than five (5) years | | | 3|compared to the total number of state contracts awarded; | | | 4| 3. The total dollar amount of all state contracts awarded to | | | 5|businesses that have been in operation for less than five (5) years; | | | 6| 4. The percentage of the total dollar amount of state contracts | | | 7|awarded to businesses that have been in operation for less than five | | | 8|(5) years compared to the total dollar amount of state contracts | | | 9|awarded; and | | | 10| 5. Recommendations on improving access to state contracts for | | | 11|new Oklahoma businesses that have been in operation for less than | | | 12|five (5) years on or before November 1, 2024. | | | 13| SECTION 2.
